You may or may not be aware that Pony TLC has ceased to trade and closed its doors for the last time at Ufton Green Farm at the beginning of July.
This has been a very sad ending to such a wonderful and valuable facility and I have wanted to take my time to look into an alternative Therapy center that I could recommend to all of the wonderful clients that have supported us over the years.
After careful consideration, I would like to recommend another practitioner based locally in West Berkshire, who provides ground-based equine facilitated learning interventions and I would like to give you a little information on her.
Claire Misson, whose original career was in the Corporate sector for 25 years, is an Equine Facilitated Learning Practitioner & Coach, Senior LEAP Practitioner, Fellow of the ACCPH and Founder of the Equine Assisted and Facilitated Practitioner’s Network. She has recently had confirmation that the Network has won an industry award (in healthcare and wellbeing) due to it's support of many individuals who have struggled through the pandemic in the last 2 years and who require ongoing support.
In 2005 Claire set up Mirror Me EFL, working with children, young people and adults and has recently set up Equanimity Coaching to provide EFL and Coaching including Project HORSES (Helping Others Realise Self Esteem and Success) which is an 8 week programme for young people.
Claire has worked with Reading Council and with private clients over a number of years and is experienced in working with children and young people who have special educational needs, autism, ADHD and those who may be home schooled and require access to alternative education provision.
Claire is fully insured, DBS checked and carries a current First Aid Certificate.
Claire provides 1-2-1 support, group work, and holiday workshops and would welcome our existing clients and those who I am aware are currently on the waiting list.
Venues will be in Mortimer, West Berkshire, and in Warfield near Bracknell.
If you would like to know more then please do get in contact with Claire and she will be very happy to help you to register your interest.
Many thanks for your ongoing support over the years and I wish you all the very best for the future
