About
Pony TLC began after my own 'Horse of a lifetime' Joe, had to retire at the ripe old age of 27. He had taught me so much, more in the short time I owned him than all the years at a riding school.
Whilst I was learning to care for and look after him, I became physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger.
I was so fortunate to have been given this amazing opportunity and when I had the devastating news Joe had to retire from being ridden, I knew the perfect 'job' for him... To give others the same opportunity to really get to know these beautiful, intuitive animals.
Having worked with children with special needs for many years, it seemed the most perfect match to combine horses and humans together.
The therapeutic benefits of being around horses are numerous, in addition to the physical benefits of being outdoors.
